The 30th anniversary celebration for the Air Max 1 continues with another momentous re-release of the iconic Air Max 1 “Anniversary” in the OG Sport Red-accented colorway. Nike designer Tinker Hatfield introduced the Air Max, featuring the first-ever visible air unit, to the world in 1987. The aforementioned colorway and its Sport Royal counterpart returned early 2017 in a limited release to celebrate Air Max Day.
